DIFFERENCES BETWEEN GASTRIC SLEEVE AND GASTRIC BYPASS

Gastric Sleeve and Gastric Bypass are two important types of bariatric surgery. Each type of surgery has its own benefits and risks. Gastric bypass and gastric sleeve are very similar procedures.
In Gastric Bypass procedure, surgeon attaches a small pouch to the intestine in order to bypass the stomach and in Gastric Sleeve procedure; surgeon removes a portion of the stomach, producing a tube-shaped stomach (sleeve).
